DMCA Notice
Version effective 13 October 2026
We respect copyright and act on notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). Bear in mind what actually lives on this site: our own texts and simple graphics, nothing more. Pictures and video inside the chat window belong to another company and its members, so a complaint about those must go to the chat provider; we have no way to delete anything there.
Sending a notice
Use the contact form, pick “Copyright or removal” as the topic, and make sure your notice contains:
- a physical or electronic signature, either your own as rights holder or that of someone entitled to act for you;
- the title or a description of the protected work concerned;
- the full URL on this site where the material appears, plus a short description of it;
- how to contact you: full name, mailing address, phone number and email;
- your good-faith statement that the use you object to was never permitted – not by the copyright owner, not by its agent and not by law;
- a sworn statement, under penalty of perjury, confirming the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or speak for them.
Our response
After a complete notice reaches us, we check it and remove the material or disable access without delay. If something is missing, we write back and say what.
Counter-notice
Believe something came down in error? Reply via the same contact form. Your counter-notice needs: a physical or electronic signature from you; the removed item together with the URL it had; your statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and phone number, plus your agreement that the federal district court covering your address has jurisdiction. A valid counter-notice is forwarded to whoever filed the original complaint.
Repeated misuse
Section 512(f) of the same act makes knowingly false claims actionable. All notices are logged, and repeated abuse has consequences.
